Position: SAP Payroll Implementation Consultant
Location: Richardson, TX
Duration: 12+ months contract( Long term )

Looking for a very senior and strong SAP Payroll implementation consultant to come on board as a contractor to work closely with the payroll team.


Prefer someone very strong having supported many 1000s of employees. Someone who has a deep knowledge of the payroll business process. Can you send resumes to me as soon as possible?

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify business requirements and configure the system using best practices by collaborating with the business users
Design, Develop, Test and Implement system or process solutions and/or enhancements
Configure wage types, garnishments, taxes, posting, tax reporter, holiday calendars, work schedules, attendances, absences and quotas
Perform regular TUB updates, BSI version upgrades and SUI rate updates
Perform HR support and enhancement pack analysis, develop test plan and perform tests
Write Personnel Calculation Rules and Schemas
Develop functional specifications and work closely with the off-shore developers to ensure the requirements and functional designs are translated accurately into technical designs
Provide on-going production support in SAP payroll and Time Management modules, resolve tickets and collaborate with appropriate teams to implement and test system fixes
Resolve issues related to Payroll driver and time evaluation during the payroll processing
Resolve Tax Reporter related issues during the year-end W-2 processing by collaborating with the respective teams


SKILLS:
Good general technical specification, configuration and general HRIS understanding/knowledge for the primary process stream / functional area
Full life cycle experiences for a major HR solution (from Concept/Selection to Sustain)
Project Management skills; Co-ordinate all deployment initiatives within the project and ensure relevant issues are communicated, addressed and resolved. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
Can define and establish scope of a project, and coach others to do the same


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
Experience:
10 plus years of experience with SAP Payroll and/or Time Management is required
Extensive knowledge/understanding of Payroll processes, solutions, and integration is preferred
Experience leading continuous improvement projects is preferred
