Job Description :

It is essential for the MM & Purchasing Process Engineer to possess:

 

  • Thorough knowledge of the Purchasing and Material master management module
  • Understanding of MM & Purchasing vendor control/sourcing processes
  • In-depth experience in configuring Vendor Source List
  • Experience with use of supplier validity dates in via other solutions
  • Experience with Material class/characteristic use (001)
  • Experience with Vendor class/characteristic use (010)
  • Experience with a highly configured variant configuration system (300)
  • Background in the use of various solutions related to vendor approval
  • Experience with SAP vendor quality/validity solutions
  • Experience in configuring and managing MENA validation process
  • Experience on purchasing (MRP) interfaces within SAP.
  • Knowledge on third party tools as it relates to quality management and ongoing vendor approval status 
  • Sound knowledge of SAP Procurement solutions
  • Be able to effectively communicate solution outline
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of ABAP
  • Ability to evaluate third party tools
  • Ability to communicate technical and non-technical material to others
  • Ability to work in highly customized SAP environment.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 10 years related technical experience and/or training
  • Experience in metals industry is a plus
