Job Title: SAP Key User

Job Duration: 6 Months

Job Location: Greer, SC

Client: BMW MC Indirect

Onsite Role

What You'll Do:

  • Supports in ensuring execution of the software systems and material flow for Production and logistics, with to material flow and inventory control.
  • Troubleshoots, identify root causes (hardware and software), and resolves issues as necessary.
  • Ensures that SAP IM/WM software systems activities and strategies are aligned to support goals and targets.
  • Resolves errors and faults of the hardware/software by working with ESA and IT.
  • Leads physical logistics regarding systems testing, systems development, and structure changes (PLC), and responsible for go-live checks/changes.
  • Physical logistics "key-user" responsible for work instruction development/accuracy, training other users, approving systems access, and approving business change requirements.
  • Ensures data accuracy (error codes, inventory, log files, control cycles, etc.) through audits and resolves discrepancies as required.
  • Will be Monitoring the below:
    • Production WIP's to ensure continuous flow and smooth transition of inventory to meet sequence, throughput, and volume goals.
    • Controls the internal production processes for all logistics processes using SAP IM/WM software controlling systems.
    • Replenishment systems and interfaces with telegrams between PLC's and SAP.
    • Various inventory reports in SAP.

 
What You Bring:

  • Associates degree, preferably in Inventory Control, Business, Computer Science, or a technical area, or 2 years equivalent experience in a manufacturing logistics function.
  • 2 years' experience in a logistics function or materials management to preferably include material flow management, SAP parts ordering, goods receiving, or demand and consumption.
  • 1 year's computer skills and Proficiency in (Microsoft Office) with emphasis on Excel and Word.
  • German, Spanish, and Chinese a plus.
  • Basic 1 year communication and interpersonal skills.
