Job Description:
Organizational Change Manager: SAP Ariba Implementation
Position reports to: Director of IT Shared Services,  but may take direction from the Director of Shared Services,  and/or the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance. 
Responsibilities:
ul> 
li> Manage and lead change efforts as the System migrates from its current,  internal legacy procurement processes to a cloud-based SAP Ariba solution. /li> 
li> Identify current- and future-state organizational design and alignment,  and help users move from where they are today,  to where they need to be in the future. /li> 
li> Conduct coaching and training sessions,  and participate in meetings with various departments. /li> 
li> Facilitate internal assessment of user needs. /li> 
li> Help transform the organization (and the providers that serve them) to support its business strategy. /li> 
li> Assist in changing the organization’ s culture,  modernizing specific functions,  and re-designing any applicable organizational structure,  as required. /li> 
li> Utilize a combination of change management actions and techniques to execute the transformation. /li> 
li> Utilize data and insights to institute better ways of working together. /li> 
li> Develop strategic plans,  and the communications plans to successfully convey them,  that ensure implementation of proposed strategies. /li> 
li> Work with personnel at various levels to encourage procurement process modernization. /li> 
li> Assess job descriptions and ensure that roles and responsibilities support change management objectives. /li> 
li> Apply behavioral tools to assess the impact of change on organizations,  using assessments of organizational culture,  performance,  and readiness for change. /li> 
li> Define activities to support change and transition initiatives. /li> 
li> Develop and deploy user-adoption/training programs to support technology implementations. /li> 
li> Contribute to practice development initiatives including culture-building,  internal community involvement,  eminence,  recruiting,  whitepapers,  etc. /li> 
li> Work closely with SAS Finance functional staff,  project manager,  and designated university representatives— procurement staff,  accounting staff—  to ensure a comprehensive plan is in place to prepare each university community to procure using the SAP Ariba tools. /li> 
li> Have strong communication skills / knowledge and have the ability to manage teams of employees,  sub-contractor relationships,  and client-facing relationships.  The ideal candidate will have strong presales,  sales,  and post-sales client presentation experience,  and the ability to guide teams through implementation processes such as: planning,  fit/gap analysis,  configuration,  testing,  rollout,  and the post-implementation support of SAP public sector solutions. /li> 
li> Be able to travel to constituents across the state system universities. /li> 
/ul> 
Required Knowledge,  Skills,  and Abilities:
ul> 
li> Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in a consulting or industry role,  with experience in change management and organizational development. /li> 
li> Bachelors’  degree is preferred,  Master’ s degree is a plus. /li> 
li> Strong interpersonal,  oral- and written-communication skills,  including presentation skills (MS Visio,  MS PowerPoint,  MS Word,  MS Excel)/li> 
li> The ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments. /li> 
li> Exhibit strong problem-solving skills,  and an ability to exercise mature judgement. /li> 
li> Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and apply problem-solving skills. /li> 
li> Demonstrated ability to employ research and analytical thinking. /li> 
li> Demonstrated capabilities in teamwork,  and leadership in Organizational Change Management/li> 
/ul> 
Preferred:
ul> 
li> Experience in SAP Ariba/SRM or other procurement system implementation. /li> 
li> Experience and knowledge of SAP modules including FICO,  MM,  and HR. /li> 
li> Experience in managing operational change across an organization,  preferably in information technology,  and with services migration/li>
