Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA Developer with strong expertise in Revenue Account Recognition (RAR) and data modeling to join our client’s team in Austin, TX. This role requires 8-10 years of hands-on experience in developing complex calculation views, stored procedures, and SQL queries, with a focus on optimizing performance and managing large datasets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize complex calculation views and stored procedures in SAP HANA.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Implement table partitioning strategies to improve query performance.
  • Utilize SAP HANA SLT, Smart Data Access, and Smart Data Integration for efficient data handling and integration.
  • Develop and manage data models using both graphical and script-based calculation views, including Dimensions, Cubes, and Cube with Star Join.
  • Create and manage restricted and calculated columns, apply filters, and use variables and input parameters in data models.
  • Implement various types of joins and aggregation of measures in calculation views.
  • Design and implement level, parent-child, and time-dependent hierarchies.
  • Work with SAP Revenue Account Recognition (RAR) to develop and manage RAR tables and data.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding and application of different HANA objects and their use cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
  • Provide expertise in financial reporting and contribute to the development of financial reports.

Skills and Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in SAP HANA data modeling and development.
  • Extensive experience with complex calculation views, stored procedures, and SQL queries.
  • Strong background in performance optimization of calculation views.
  • Expertise in table partitioning, SAP HANA SLT, Smart Data Access, and Smart Data Integration.
  • Proficiency in using various types of joins and creating advanced calculation views.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Revenue Account Recognition (RAR) and financial reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of developing information models using graphical and script-based views.
  • Ability to create and manage restricted and calculated columns, filters, and hierarchies.
  • Solid understanding of the use cases for different HANA objects and their application.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
