Position: SAP Functional Lead
Location: Remote-with few travels (if client asks) to Pittsburg, PA (at most once a month)
Required Skills:
SAP Expertise
Minimum 15+ years in SAP implementations, with 5+ years in S/4HANA.
Deep functional knowledge in Finance (FI/CO),
Experience with SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery.
Pharma Industry Knowledge
Understanding of GxP compliance, validation processes, and regulatory frameworks.
Familiarity with pharma-specific processes like serialization, batch management, and controlled environments.
Technical Acumen
Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, and integration technologies (IDoc, RFC, OData).
Exposure to data migration tools and SAP Solution Manager.
Leadership & Communication
Proven ability to lead global teams and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Job Description: Lead the global S4HANA Bluefield implementation and optimization of SAP S/4HANA solutions across multiple geographies for a pharmaceutical organization. Ensure compliance with industry regulations (FDA, EMA, GMP), drive process standardization, and enable digital transformation through SAP best practices.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP FICO Profitability Analysis solutions to optimize financial processes and enhance business performance.
- Oversee the integration of SAP EPM SAP PaPM solutions to ensure seamless data flow and accurate financial reporting.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP technologies to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address system inefficiencies, driving continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP solutions, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all users.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance team knowledge and proficiency in SAP technologies.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades to maintain optimal functionality.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring effective solution delivery.
- Support the development of strategic plans for SAP system enhancements, aligning with organizational goals.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners to ensure timely delivery of solutions and services.

Qualifications -
