Position: SAP FS-CD Solution Architect

Experience: 8+ years in SAP FS-CD must insurance Industry experience preferred
Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP FS-CD payment processes (inbound and outbound), bank reconciliation, and related accounting
Skills: Techno-functional experience preferred, including a strong understanding of business processes and SAP development skills
Responsibilities: Ability to write functional and technical specifications
Experience: Techno-functional role, more functional than technical
Background: Experience in functional areas related to contract accounting; insurance experience preferred
FS-CD Focus: debugging code ABAP based on functional requirements
Common Modules: FS-CD, and IS-U,
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deep SAP FS-CD Knowledge: Manage and optimize SAP FS-CD payment processes, including both inbound and outbound payments, and ensure accurate bank reconciliation and accounting.
Utilize a blend of business process understanding and SAP development skills to resolve complex issues and improve system functionality.
Create detailed functional and technical specifications for system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis and ABAP debugging for defects in existing FS-CD implementations, focusing on identifying and resolving code errors.
Adapt and integrate related modules such as FI-CA and IS-U as needed, with a strong focus on functional aspects and contract accounting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP FS-CD, including expertise in payment processes, bank reconciliation, and accounting
Demonstrated ability to apply both business process knowledge and SAP development skills, with a focus on ABAP debugging rather than programming
Proven capability to develop comprehensive functional and technical specifications
Familiarity with FS-CD sibling modules (e.g., FI-CA, IS-U) and their integration into SAP systems
Experience in the insurance sector is preferred but not required.
