SAP Financial Accounting Consultant

100% Remote

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled SAP Financial Accounting (SAP FI) Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP FI solutions. The candidate will work closely with finance stakeholders to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into SAP functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and support SAP FI components including:

    • General Ledger (GL)

    • Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Bank Accounting

    • Asset Accounting (AA)

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements

  • Perform system configuration and functional customization

  • Provide day-to-day functional support and issue resolution

  • Prepare functional specifications for developments (RICEFW)

  • Support integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.)

  • Assist in data migration and master data activities

  • Participate in testing cycles (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT)

  • Provide end-user training and documentation

  • Ensure compliance with accounting and financial standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with SAP FI configuration and support

  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes

  • Knowledge of GL, AP, AR, and related processes

  • Experience with SAP system testing and troubleshooting

  • Ability to work with business users and stakeholders

  • Understanding of SAP integration concepts

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (preferred)

  • SAP FI certification (nice to have)

  • Experience in implementation or support projects

  • Knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation
