Job Description :


  • Provides leadership for a team of employees and contractors while working under general direction of senior management to plan, organize and direct work related to their Functional area and related applications
  • Analyzes complex business needs presented by the user community and participates in and/or recommends solutions
  • Monitors the success of SAP projects; follows up to ensure objectives are met, manages organization and control of data and artifacts associated with the projects, making timely and sound decisions
  • Assists the Head of SAP Applications in addressing business cases and approval as required
  • Responsible for the definition of their Functional team, skills required, positions needed and hiring process
  • Responsible for performance evaluation, feedback, goal setting, employee development, salary review, hiring and related decisions
  • Responsible for the design, build, test, integration and support of SAP ECC systems along with integration of other internal systems to solve and support current and future business initiatives for their functional area
  • Understands Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, keeps current with industry trends, informs IT and business customers, stays current with corporate needs and anticipates where SAP or other technologies can provide solutions
  • Promotes and enables continued professional development of the SAP team through seminars, training, coaching and mentoring
  • Keeps apprised of SAP’s roadmap, industry best practices and changes in technologies key to supporting the business needs
  • Manages both projects and break-fix ticket items in their functional area, driving them to close by closely monitoring work-capacities of team members, removing road-blocks hampering close and coordinating with the BPO’s and business stakeholders
  • Collaborates with the BPO’s and business stakeholders to prioritize work items and projects
  • Leading a team of 4+ FICO experts, should be 50% hands on. Will approve FICO design, Manage business relationships, have HR responsibilities over their team


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Software Engineering, BCIS or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 4+ years of experience in managing or leading SAP teams in planning, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of SAP solutions, other business applications, infrastructure or other technology areas
  • 10+ years of practical knowledge and prior experience with SAP, ERP Systems and other industry available software packages
