SAP FI/CO Functional Lead

100% Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Functional Lead to lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable SAP solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead SAP FI/CO module implementations, enhancements, and support activities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions

  • Configure SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA)

  • Provide functional leadership and guidance to the project team

  • Drive solution design, gap analysis, and business process improvements

  • Coordinate with technical teams for RICEFW objects and integrations

  • Ensure proper documentation including functional specifications and process flows

  • Support data migration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and training activities

  • Resolve complex functional issues and provide root cause analysis

  • Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams (MM, SD, PP, etc.)

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO configuration

  • Deep understanding of financial and controlling processes

  • Experience leading SAP implementation or rollout projects

  • Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules

  • Ability to communicate with finance and business stakeholders

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Experience in S/4HANA Finance (preferred)

  • Understanding of RICEFW objects and interfaces

  • Leadership and team coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA

  • SAP certification in FI/CO (nice to have)

  • Experience in global or multi-company implementations

  • Knowledge of regulatory and tax requirements
