May have to work with Offshore resources so may need to work early to meet with them.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in application solution design standard requirements business analysis techniques such as data analysis, process analysis, interviewing, and use case development.
Technical training in vendor specific technology (i.e. SAP) required.
Lifesciences/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience preferred.
Familiarity with software/solution delivery life cycles.
Facilitation, organization and written communication skills.
Ability to work in ambiguous situations.
Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving
Responsibilities:
Manages applications engineering team who research, collect and report information on the ability and capacity of company products and competing equipment.
Oversees and contributes to the design and development of equipment and systems or redesign to existing equipment to fulfill the needs of customers.
Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
Acts as advisor to applications engineering team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complex tasks.
Leads and directs the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Typically reports to head of a unit/department.
