SAP Controlling Consultant

100% Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable SAP Controlling (SAP CO) Consultant to manage configuration, support, and optimization of SAP CO solutions. The consultant will work with business and finance teams to implement effective controlling processes and ensure accurate cost and profitability reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and support SAP CO components including:

    • Cost Element Accounting

    • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)

    • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)

    • Internal Orders

    • Product Costing (PC)

    • Profitability Analysis (COPA)

  • Gather and analyze business requirements for controlling processes

  • Perform functional configuration and system customization

  • Provide functional support and resolve CO-related issues

  • Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects

  • Support integration with SAP FI, MM, SD, PP, etc.

  • Assist with cost allocations, settlements, and reporting structures

  • Participate in testing cycles (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT)

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities

  • Provide documentation and end-user training

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in SAP CO configuration and support

  • Strong understanding of controlling and cost accounting concepts

  • Experience with CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, and Product Costing

  • Knowledge of cross-module integration (especially FI–CO)

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work with finance and business stakeholders

  • Experience in testing and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Controlling (preferred)

  • SAP CO certification (nice to have)

  • Experience in implementation or support projects

  • Knowledge of profitability and cost reporting
