ROLE: SAP Consultant

LOCATION: Auburn Hills, MI OR Herndon, VA-ONSITE/HYBRID

Job Description/ Responsibilities

Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP HCM functional Consultant.

Managing functional support of SAP HR module in the key areas such Personnel Administration, Personal Development, Organization Management and Third Party Payroll Processing, ensuring that the system remains operational, addressing any systems issues

Responsible for system (functional business) applications requirements gathering and documentation for enhancement requests in conjunction with the HR Process, Procedures and Processes. The role provides functional SAP support for operations for the Human Resource user groups.

Submitting and managing requests through IT Service/Help desk. Responsible for coordinating response 24x7 for all severity 1 and 2 incidents and any lower level incidents having significant business impact. Interaction with HR business function to ensure all requests from HR are dealt with effectively, efficiently and in accordance with standard IT practice

Key point of contact with HR team for all SAP HR related work. Will assist in the functional design (in conjunction with the HR Processes), testing and deployment of interfaces and other integral changes.

Run Queries, reports, write technical specifications, define business processes and vendor communication

Main point of contact for all the other IT applications which are dependent on or which affect the running of the SAP HR system, specifically single sign on, identity and access management team and all downstream systems.

Main point of contact for all support and project related activities for any VW AG projects and applications with SAP HR.

Monitoring of SAP HR data and their relationship to SAP Payroll. Administration of IDOCs, working with ADP for payroll processing.

Ensure IT HR SAP group interacts with other IT HR Applications and Payroll teams, ensuring communications of all updates, changes etc across the team. Involvement in evaluation of HR applications suite to be held throughout coming year

Applications' testing in accordance with company polices. Involvement in the maintenance of training materials (including Process flows, Process Procedures etc). Involvement in all aspects of SAP HR application support.

Coordinate all data and file transfer issues with external and internal interfaces; Kronos, Benefits vendors, Vanguard, Concur, SuccessFactors, Taleo etc.

What are the top skills required for this role?

Experience with ECC 6.0

Deep expertise and configuration experience in SAP HCM PA and OM modules.

Good understanding of 3rd party Payroll systems like ADP.

Experience with Kronos system interface and good understanding of payrules.

Experience with service now with ticket handling, investigating and analyzing variety of operation and administrative problems and provide appropriate solutions.

Strong data analytics and reporting skills.

Years of Experience 12yrs and above
