Position: SAP Business Analyst - FICO/MM/HANA
Location: Richardson, TX
Duration: 12 +months contract
As the Supply Chain/Finance Business Applications Sr. Analyst, you will work as a techno-functional combination for our SAP ECC System to develop and implement enhancements and various
customizations of SAP Purchasing (PO), Payables(AP), General Ledger(GL), Cash Management(CM), Tax and integration of Third-Party Applications. You will formulate and define system scope
and objectives based on user needs, a good understanding of application systems, and industry requirements. • Devise or modify procedures to solve problems considering system capacity,
limitations, and desired results. • Perform business analysis of systems and follow through the full development life cycle. • Define detailed requirements, analyzing business needs and validating
solutions with the client and evaluate requirements documented by others. • Modify, maintain, and update complex ERP configuration and program routines. • Solve highly technical complex problems
and be called on to consult for other projects. • Serve as a senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with enterprise applications. • Educate others in
the workflow, business processes, and reporting metrics enabled by ERP modules or other applications. • Define, test, train, implement, and support one or more functional areas within the
ERP System or other applications. • Monitor other business analysts in software development methods, processes and implementation of those methods. • Provide mentoring and direction to
team members and is a key contributor. • Manage projects with medium budgets or of an intermediate duration. M • Manage project plan, scope, risk, and resources. • Act as team leader for
medium size project teams. • Participate in IT financial management activities including annual budgeting cycle, project estimating, capital approval process, project budget oversight, and resource
time tracking. • Contribute to multi-year planning to determine broad direction, prioritize projects and evaluate ROI.
Qualifications • 7+ years of progressive experience in SAP applications suite with focus on ECC and/or S4 suite on HANA • 5+ years’ experience in other enterprise applications in Procurement to
Pay domain (Contracts, Spend Analytics, Travel & Expense, contingent staffing, PCard, utility billing, or similar applications) • 5+ years of hands on expertise in SAP MM – Purchasing (Purchase
Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Release Strategy, Inventory Management, Material Master, Purchasing Info Records, and Scheduling Agreements), Inventory Management, and SAP FI –
Accounts Payable configuration (Invoice Verification, Matching, Payment, and Reconciliation) experience. • Understanding of SAP FI/CO – General Ledger, AR, AP modules and Controlling –
Profit Center Accounting, and Projects System, and how it integrates with other SAP modules • Global experience with ability to adapt to local environments • Solid grasp of master data concept for
vendors, materials, chart of accounts etc. and their impact on distributed systems and processes • Exposure to integrating SAP with other upstream/downstream systems through middleware (e.g.
Gentran, TIBCO, Informatica) • Experience with SaaS applications for Procurement, Travel/Entertainment, Utility billing etc. • Basic understanding of various types of taxes and their
systematic handling within Procure to Pay transactions • Skills to build and maintain testing scripts with tools – any exposure working with any testing tool. • Good understanding of reporting concepts
in SAP, BW, or other tools and ability to use them for quick analysis or report writing • Strong interpersonal, facilitation and problem-solving skills to engage with all levels of Business and IT. •
Demonstrate excellent verbal/presentation and written communication skills. • Self-starter with detailed orientation to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously • Keen desire to learn and expand depth
of knowledge on SAP as well as other enterprise applications • Comfort and familiarity in working in an outsourced model with onshore and offshore resources. • Willingness to work off business hours
and weekends as needed in a demanding global environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Business is required. Desired • Ability to read / debug
ABAP code • Understanding of BAPI/BAdIs for SAP • Worked in a consultative and/or IT capacity with at least 5 SAP or large project implementations of high complexity, large scale and global user
Prior SAP HANA implementation a plus. • Not averse to growing skill set beyond SAP •
Strong customer focus, willing to go the extra mile to ensure all customer Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded
