Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Technology Lead to drive technical architecture and platform strategy for an S/4HANA landscape. The ideal candidate will provide leadership across BASIS, integrations, security, and SAP BTP extensibility while ensuring compliance with enterprise and BFSI standards.
Key Responsibilities
Define the technical architecture for S/4HANA environments (on-premise, private cloud, or RISE).
Oversee SAP BASIS operations, including environments, transports, system performance, and sizing.
Guide the extensibility strategy using in-app extensions and side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP.
Lead custom code remediation and modernization efforts.
Own security and authorization models, including SOX controls and compliance with BFSI standards.
Define and manage the data migration strategy using tools such as DMO and SLT.
Review and manage integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP PI/PO, CPI, APIs, and event-driven architecture.
Establish CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation for transports, testing, and monitoring.
Provide technical risk assessments and ensure readiness for cutover and go-live.
Required Skills
Strong experience with SAP BTP and S/4HANA architecture
Expertise in SAP BASIS administration and landscape management
Experience with SAP integrations (PI/PO, CPI, APIs)
Knowledge of data migration tools (DMO, SLT)
Experience with security, compliance, and SOX controls
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation in SAP environments
