The Challenge: 

Vignetic is looking for a Senior IT Architect – SAP BASIS and Security who will play a key role in the development and deployment of core foundation of Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Manufacturing capabilities.  The role will provide both technical leadership in solution architecture as well as functional leadership in integration with the business, systems integration partner and long-term support with the SAP Private Cloud Edition (PCE) partner as well as our Application Management Services (AMS) provider.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Deployment of SAP S/4HANA BASIS and Security components to support the deployment of SAP S/4HANA.
• Connection of all SAP S/4HANA components to ensure connectivity in the ecosystem of cloud providers.
• Supporting the business during requirements gathering and business process design.
• Performing functional gap analysis and ensuring project scope is clearly defined.
• Supporting the Project Management Office to define project plans, deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
• Producing functional specifications and coordinating with technical teams on development.
• Developing presentations to document the solution for design reviews and business playbacks.
• Supporting technical teams in designing and executing performance tests.
• Ensuring adequate test cycles are defined and executed to support a smooth production launch.
• Status reporting within the team and upwards to management groups throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinating cutover and implementation activities across multiple teams, both business and technical.
• Tracking issues and managing scope of changes during warranty support to ensure a successful handover to the production support team.
• Lead enhancement management with business; integrate with the Application Management Services provider for long-term sustainment of the solution.
• Project implementation experience using waterfall & agile methodologies.
• Maintaining documentation and controls in SOX and GxP regulatory environments.

Essential Skills& Qualifications:

• 8 to 10 years of S/4HANA BASIS and Security capabilities including the following:
• SAP BASIS
• SAP Technology Architecture and overseeing relationship with SAP PCE
• Coordination with Infrastructure and Operations team
• Secure connectivity of all environments – SAP and non-SAP – through technologies including Single Sign-On and Cloud Process Integration
• Deployment and support of the Technology components for core tools across the SAP landscape
• SAP Security
• Overseeing relationship with AMS provider for role provision, Segregation of Duties (SOD) analysis, Identity and Access Governance (IAG) configuration
• Driving continuous improvement with Security toolsets and IAG/GRC
• Key contact with Interval Audit for maintenance and monitoring of General IT Controls for SAP as well as maintaining Segregation of Duties
• Multiple SAP deployments including experience with deployment of SAP S/4HANA
• Extensive hands-on design and configuration experience, including Technology Architecture and SAP Security Role Design.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of SAP BASIS and Security capabilities.
• Ability to drive designs that balance business efficiency, system performance, security, and compliance.
• Ability to deliver complex, cross-functional projects working closely with multiple business and technical teams.
• Experience managing SAP solution to support products using multiple options.
• Experience managing distributed organization dealing with resources from different time zones.
• Able to deliver quality solutions within scope and timeline in an environment with high expectations and challenging timelines.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Capable to successfully deal with intangibles and ambiguities.
• Project implementation experience using waterfall & agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in SAP UI5 & Fiori applications are preferable.
• Experience with SAP backend integration with SAP BTP using Cloud Connector and/or SAP CPI are preferable.
• Experience deploying SAP in highly regulated environments including SOX and GXP.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems

Travel Requirements:

• 10 – 15% to international locations
