Position: SAP ABAP Developer (Extensions)
Duration: Long Term
Location: 100 % Remote Work
Visa Status: only (US Citizen or Permanent Resident required)
Description
SAP Interface Developer
Responsibilities
Accountable for the successful implementation of SAP integration
development objects following SAP ASAP or Activate Methodology standards.
Serve as subject matter expert in the area of SAP Integration.
Develops technical design documentation for SAP integration development
objects.
Reviews designs for SAP integrations developed by other team members for
quality and adherence to standards.
Makes SAP integration configuration settings for technical objects as
needed.
Coordinates with technical developers to review specifications with
customers, explain the design and obtain approval of specifications.
Assists developers by responding to questions and clarifications.
Assists customer develop test cases, test scripts and test plans.
Assists customer perform integration and acceptance testing.
Resolves defects and issues identified by customer in integration testing.
Assists customers anticipate, identify and resolve post go-live issues.
Updates all design, configuration and specification documentation and
conducts a documentation walkthrough with customer.
Provides knowledge transfer to customer personnel throughout the project.
Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor s Degree in computer science or equivalent is required. The
required knowledge and skills for the role are:
Minimum 5 years of design and development of SAP integration solutions
Good understanding of AP, AR, Assets and FICO data model
SAP ABAP development experience in 7.x Netweaver version
SAP integration development experience
Expert in developing CDS views and AMDP
Expert in developing OData services in SAP NetWeaver Gateway
Strong knowledge of JSON to ABAP integration
Strong knowledge of SAP Gateway OData errors trouble shooting
Strong knowledge of BOPF framework
Knowledge of XML, XSLT, and OOP
Knowledge with SAP IDOC, BAPI, RFC preferred
SAP development tools experience with Eclipse and A e live cycle designer
Experience with ASAP or Activate or equivalent SAP implementation
methodology
S/4HANA experience is a plus.
