Role: Salesforce Order Management Consultant Location: Mountain view, CA Duration: Contract Job Description: WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO Manage the Order Administration cycle by processing orders in a timely and accurate manner, including order acknowledgement, validation and integrity check of orders in Salesforce and ensuring amendments to orders are actioned immediately. Monitor order status through sync-to-NetSuite, communicating and addressing any issues to the Finance, Sales Operations and License teams. Ensuring items are included on Revenue Schedules and Renewal Opportunities are validated at the time of the New Business order. Act as contact point and knowledge base for Sales and Customer Success teams for any Order Administration questions. Manage and refine/enhance our current Order Administration process while gaining and maintaining process knowledge, including the capability to book complex pricing and deal structures. Work closely with process and project managers to revise operational steps to scale with planned business growth. Build strong relationships and engagement models with Sales, Operations, Finance, & Legal leaders globally to understand sales order needs and challenges while achieving the desired level of support service excellence and satisfaction. Work with multiple cross-functional teams: Sales Operations, Sales, Training and Enablement, Finance, Legal and other teams to drive improvements in processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Act as a single source of truth and deal expert for other job functions which rely on orders to be 100% accurate (Sales Managers, Finance, Analytics, Commissions, etc Create, publish and monitor key performance indicators to capture and control sales order support performance by delivering services to defined levels of quality and consistency. Analyze and understand the trends and fluctuations inclusive of: support case demand, turnaround times, quality and satisfaction. WHAT YOU BRING TO LOOKER Experience in Order Management and processing in a global, fast-paced environment at high-tech companies. 2+ years of Order Administration, Deal Desk, Sales Operations or similar role experience with significant exposure to Sales and Operations teams. B.A. or B.S. in a business-related field. Advanced experience with Salesforce CRM required (certification is a plus) Experience with SaaS subscription Order Administration preferred. Familiarity with quote to cash tools, Salesforce integrations and A e EchoSign. Outstanding communication, rigor, sense of urgency and attention to detail. Ability to work with multiple groups and collaborate on a variety of projects. Strong project management, planning and organization skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work hours covering various time zones and providing on-call support as needed for NA, EMEA & APAC regions, with the expectation that extra hours may be required around the busiest times of the month/quarter/year.
