Role: Salesforce Developer
Duration 1.5 year, with a 1 year renewal
Location: Tallahassee, FL (On-Site, no remote)

Required Experience:
1. A minimum of five (5) years of software development experience with Salesforce;
2. Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field;
3. Certified Salesforce Administrator;
4. Certified Salesforce Platform Developer;
5. Knowledge of Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and familiarity with testing software and designing business systems; configuration of knowledge management helpful;
6. Experience developing and deploying business logic and user interfaces using the programmatic capabilities of both the Classic and Lightning Platforms;
7. Detailed knowledge of Salesforce Security, Sharing, Profiles, and Roles;
8. Has in-depth knowledge of Salesforce and object-oriented approaches in designing, coding, testing and debugging programs;
9. Keep up to date with the new Salesforce releases and suggest ways in using Salesforce best practices to improve the current processes;
10. Team player, self-starter, and motivated with the ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines;
11. Experience with state government projects;
12. Excellent organisational, oral, written communication, and presentation skills with ability to interact with technical and functional staff at all levels;
13. Ability to work with business users to transform and develop requirements into design, implementation and business solutions;
14. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook.
Preference will be given to knowledge, skills, and abilities:
1. Competency in third-party tools used with Salesforce, including Conga, Einstein, DataVerse, Declarative Lookup Rollup Summary, Configuration Workbook, and Flosum.
1. Provide knowledge and support for Salesforce applications development, integration, and maintenance related to DEO s Office of Disaster Recovery or Rebuild Florida program;
2. Engage in full systems life cycle management (e.g., analysis, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation) of Salesforce, systems and applications software to ensure delivery is on time and within budget;
3. Research and support the integration of emerging technologies and participate in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Salesforce applications development initiatives to meet business requirements and ensure compliance;
4. Interact directly with end users and managers as necessary to analyze objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications and integrations with internal systems;
5. Provide Salesforce knowledge transfer to DEO developers;
6. Work with business groups and technical teams to successfully design and manage solutions leveraging the full power of the Salesforce platform and integration with external systems;
7. Provide guidance on application and integration development best practices, platform architecture standards, functional and technical solution architecture & design, environment management, testing, and Salesforce Platform education;
8. Review/Create application and technical design documents which leverage Salesforce best practices and effectively integrate Salesforce into our infrastructure;
9. Configuration of Salesforce application security and other application development activities;
10. Identify and pro-actively manage potential risks;
11. Participate in planning sessions with business to implement process improvement within an assigned area;
12. Liaise between business units and IT units to provide support, resolve problems, identify key deliverables and escalate to management as appropriate;
13. Supports and contributes to functional and user testing.
