What will the developer be working on?

·         Depends on the needs of the business. Our Client is a dynamic team that approaches a lot of topics so the efforts are too numerous to approach. However, a mix of 50% projects and 50% day to day tasks. DTD tasks consist of many things from new features/improvements, assimilating change into the environment to support the systems (issue resolution, refactoring, environment refreshes, etc…)

·         This IT unit is tightly coupled with the business so project work usually consists of design, complex UI enhancements, and Apex programming for the resource. They do have CRM admins to take care of the typical declarative changes but when it starts being too technical or a large design is needed then this person will need to be involved more. Also, because They are tightly coupled and the team is small this then gives the resource a chance to play the role of a BA in to changes within scope. The business acts as the main BAs but this resource will need to play part of that role at times. They are not a shop that lists out everything and hands it off to IT…Our Client collaborates on all approaches.

What is the business challenge and what is driving this need?

·         This is a small team so there is a key person risk on the IT side only having a few developers for the platform. This coupled with the amount of work warrants the position.
