Job Description:
Drives and facilitates the right discussions with business owners to identify business capabilities in relation to current and future business objectives for the project/program
Define high-level goals and roadmap associated with their project
Derive EPICs, Features and User Stories from the high level goals and roadmap
Works closely with solution/technical architects to deliver business architecture artifacts needed for End to End Architecture & Solution Architecture Approach deliverables
Develop business requirements and derive Acceptance Criteria for the User Stories, ensure that these are verified and approved by the business owner/s
Working with the users and development team to elucidate the functionality
Lead requirement discussions, joint application design (JAD), and root cause analysis (RCA) to brainstorm alternative solution sessions.
Recommend process changes/system modifications to streamline and automate a business process
Work with the development team to design, test, implement, and maintain updates within company databases and applications necessary to streamline/automate a business process
Identify and analyze the risks associated with achieving the milestones for a project. Develop risk mitigation strategies
Work with business owners and other stakeholders to organize and execute pre-deployment user acceptance testing that is specific to the project
Assist the corporate training group in the creation of training documentation and programs that are focused on building consistency and proficiency within a process
Facilitate/present the initial training sessions for a particular process
Ensure the management and training for a particular process is effectively transitioned back to the business after the completion of a project
Work closely with Program manager to provide required project status and any risks that have been identified
Serve as the single point of contact for project related issues that are business functionality related & need to be escalated to senior management for resolution
Identifies and leads problem resolution for project/program complex requirements related issues at all levels
Tracks regulatory, market trends
Should possess excellent analytical skills & verbal & written communication skills
Salesforce knowledge is must
Minimum years of experience 8+ years
Should have a strong knowledge in Mortgage domain, Mortgage Insurance knowledge is plus

Essential Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or financial services field.
Eight or more years of experience within the insurance, mortgage, or related industry.
Extensive experience and knowledge in information technologies, processes, software development lifecycles, and strategic initiatives.
Experience and familiarity with agile software development lifecycle methodology.
Thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Ability to be an agent for change and use design thinking to synthesize many ideas into big-picture views that outline the connection between business intention and business action.
Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and information, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues.
Experience using data and process model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business.
Ability to visualize and create data and process high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture.
Tolerant of ambiguity with an ability to work in a dynamic environment with challenging priorities and requirements.
Hands-on process modeling to represent business activities in diagrams or other hands-on experience with documenting a system or a feature, as demonstrated by the use of UML, or any other notation to represent a business need.
Proficient with Office Productivity tools such as Microsoft Office suite of tools for productivity, analytics and presentations.

Experience in development of business strategy and business cases.
