TITLE: Salesforce Business Analyst LOCATION: 100% remote, Candidates must be located in EST or CST time zone only DURATION: 7+ MONTHS Salesforce Business Analyst (Marketing and Experience Cloud) Duties and Responsibilities: ? For Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation, the BA will work closely with the business to understand requirements and propose solutions ? S/he/they will collaborate with other team members on a fast-paced agile scrum (EDGE) team to propose and deliver the best solution implementation of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform for Shell ? Engage with business stakeholders to facilitate business process analysis, gather requirements and map them to solutions that leverage Salesforce functionality ? Demonstrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities to solve business problems by implementing Proof of Concept pilots and producing the supporting documentation ? Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders with external vendors to achieve project goals ? Author a detailed design solution and configuration specification using diagramming tools to represent business and technical processes ? Stay current with the periodic Salesforce releases and leverage the updates applicable to Shell ? Email automation and campaign journeys ? Tracking and reporting metrics ? Coordination of efforts for successful implementation ? Interfacing directly with staff, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assessing available technologies, and recommending solution options ? Support the enterprise-wide implementation of Marketing Cloud and provide subject matter expertise marketing automation initiatives and be responsible for maintenance and enhancements ? Recommending strategies and tactics to achieve business need Education/Experience Required ? At least three years of experience in a business analyst role and three years of Salesforce experience, including two years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. ? Experience in Salesforce Lead Conversion and experience with various Salesforce modules including Marketing, Community Cloud, and/or Lightning, Email Studio, Microsites, Automation, Web Studios, MC Connect and Analytics, Datorama ? Proven track record in leading initiatives, conducting stakeholder workshops, gathering and documenting business requirements ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse group of team members, business, and subject matter expects (SME) ? Familiarity with third-party and commonly used functionality extenders ? Experience in hands-on design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities ? Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve difficult problems quickly ? Aptitude for learning new technologies Skills: ? Excellent project, communication, and customer service skills are required to be successful in this position Physical Demands: ? Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards ? Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. ?
