Location: Remote, based in Middle Tennessee (Nashville metro preferred)
Travel: 25?50% (occasional overnight or out-of-state travel)

The Opportunity

We?re seeking a Senior Sales Executive based in Middle Tennessee to lead statewide business development and account expansion.

You?ll manage key relationships in Nashville and Memphis, supporting existing clients while driving new business in IT, AI, and engineering sectors. This role requires someone who can confidently operate at an executive level, explain agile delivery concepts, discuss team-based work products, and connect client needs to customized FastTrack classes or blended agile team solutions.

You?ll work closely with current account managers to upsell, cross-sell, and ensure clients fully understand the range of Cook?s offerings?from staffing and FastTrack training, to AI-enabled team delivery and engineering services.

What You?ll Do
? Grow and Expand Accounts: Support current clients, partner with account managers, and identify new opportunities within existing relationships.
? Sell AI and Emerging Tech Solutions: Represent Cook?s evolution into AI-powered and engineering-based delivery models with energy and clarity.
? Consult and Educate: Articulate how Cook builds and deploys agile teams, FastTrack graduates, and blended solution models.
? Develop Custom FastTrack Programs: Collaborate with internal teams to design and position training cohorts tailored for specific client needs.
? Engage Executives: Communicate value at the C-level?translating technical solutions into business outcomes.
? Balance Hunter/Farmer Skills: Open new doors while strengthening long-term client partnerships.
? Act with Integrity: Pursue new opportunities responsibly, focusing on Cook?s growth rather than competing with existing initiatives.

Who You Are
? Tennessee-Based: Reside in or near Middle Tennessee.
? Proven Seller: 5+ years in IT staffing, consulting, or solution-based sales.
? Executive Communicator: Skilled at holding strategic conversations with senior leaders and explaining agile delivery, project work products, and technical capabilities.
? Tech-Curious and Future-Focused: Enthusiastic about AI, FastTrack, and emerging technology markets.
? Ethical and Self-Directed: Understands boundaries, represents the company well, and focuses on mutually profitable growth.
? Relationship Builder: Known for credibility, follow-through, and a consultative approach.
