Ruby on Rails Engineer with expertise in modern web technologies to help us build the next generation of services and tools for businesses. The ideal candidate will be well versed in front-end technologies but also have a strong aesthetic sense and understanding of visual design principles in web applications. In this position, you will work with a team responsible for a Rails/Javascript product. That means on any given day you might be creating hi-fidelity mockups, or writing vanilla Javascript, React, HTML in React or ERB, and CSS. Responsibilities * Working within the standard Ruby on Rails libraries like Webpacker, Stimulus.js, Hotwire, Turbo, etc. * Writing responsive, compliant, accessible, and testable user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Collaborating with peers to design, write, document, deploy, and maintain software systems. * Providing proficiency and guidance on front-end libraries such as React, Vue, Elm, etc. * Collaborating with others using Sketch, Photoshop, or other design applications. * Performing usability research, ensuring compatibility, and optimizing performance.
