JOB : Ruby On Rails Developer
Location: Burlington, MA (Remote till Covid)

Job Description:
1. Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque
2. Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
3. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
4. Good understanding of server-side templating languages {{such as Liquid, Slim, etc depending on your technology stack}}
5. Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors {{such as Sass, based on project requirements}}
6. Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
7. Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
8. A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code
9. Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
10. Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
11. Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
12. Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
13. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{e.g. Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
14. Familiarity with development aiding tools {{such as Bower, Bundler, Rake, etc}}
15. Familiarity with continuous integration
