iZeal, Inc is currently seeking an RF Design Engineer for our client's requirement. The salary depends on experience.
Position: RF Design Engineer
Location: Denver, CO.
Job Description:
· Must have recent LTE/NR Design experience with competing carriers.
· Solid understanding of RF propagation principles, cellular theory, RF engineering tools, and antenna theory.
· Knowledge of different Cell Sites and their Structure.
· Experience working with the following equipment manufacturers from a Network Design perspective: Ericsson or Nokia
· Sound Experience of RF Network design including proficiency in Radio Frequency Data Sheets.
· Experience working on the following technologies: GSM/UMTS/LTE/NR
· Rich experience in Construction Drawings, Close Out packages, and Design Database Tools like Asset/Atoll.
· Understanding of Port Matrix, Bill Of Materials, and Visio drawings.
· Must have Design Hardware knowledge of Ericsson or Nokia.
· Experience working on the preparation of CIQs/SCF and understanding of NodeB/gNodeB/Cell parameters.
· Exposure to Scoping meetings with clients.
· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong Excel knowledge, Oracle DB, Excel macros, Python, and SQL programming are a plus.
· Moderate MapInfo skills.
· Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
· Ability to lead deep technical discussions with the customer
· Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (Java, Python, and PowerShell)
· Knowledge of Cloud or Virtualized environment
· Timely, Professional response to emails, phone calls executive notifications through routine and extended service impacting events
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
· 2 to 5 years of related, hands-on experience in RF Design Engineering
· Experience in Java, Python, and PowerShell.
· Telecom background.
· Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
· Aptitude for Creativity and Innovation
· Good communication and Analytics skills to present Key Technical Concepts
· Excellent analytical and problem-resolution capabilities
· Excellent debugging skills
