• Understand business priorities for ServiceNow applications from Product Owner and assess level of effort & convey deadlines for priorities to Product Owner (aka Relationship Manager).
• Guide the Technology & QA team’s work via clear solution/ Tech design and keep progress on projects and enhancements on time.
• Be a trusted partner to Business Process Consultant to ensure user stories/ requirements & process is documented accurately for Agile Development.
• Be a consulted partner to Product Owner and Process owner(s) regarding future state processes related to ServiceNow applications.
• Guide & assist with detailed technical requirements definition in preparation for Development of ServiceNow application enhancements and projects.
• Manage a software engineering team that builds, designs, implements, and maintains front-ends and back-ends for ServiceNow applications such as ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, ITAM & HRSD.
• Demonstrated ability to understand how ServiceNow ITSM & ITOM apply to high-efficiency Service Desk teams.
• Oversee test case creation, user acceptance testing, and manage production deployments.
• Oversee post-deployment validation efforts with the business via Product Owner and monitor stability.
• Conduct & provide oversight on resolution of Incidents and Requests related to ServiceNow.
• Assess Requests for accurate categorization.
• Proactively plan for required product upgrades and mandatory maintenance efforts.
• Proactively identify system defects and drive problem management to resolution for ServiceNow product.
• Show curiosity to understand data flow and system interdependencies to inform solutions.
• Demonstrate or support team in presenting functionality built & assist with creation of knowledge articles where necessary.
• Document release notes toward the end of each deployment & share with stakeholder audience under Product Owner’s guidance.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
• 3+ years of sound technical experience in building/ enhancing ServiceNow ITSM, ITBM, ITOM & HRSD.
• 3+ years of quantitative and qualitative experience in Business Intelligence or Data Science
• 3+ years of people management experience managing product managers, program manager, project managers, engineers, or similar job families
• Demonstrated ability to drive scalable technology solutions that deliver business results
• Experience Working with multiple product managers and technical teams from concept generation through implementation
• Proficient SQL Knowledge to pull data independently
• Knowledge of cloud server concepts
