Project: Oracle Upgrade - Data Center
Focus on the following 3 initiatives:
1. Upgrade 3 Oracle databases to 19c (1 database on 11g R2 and 2 databases on 12c)
2. Upgrade Oracle Golden Gate to be compatible with Oracle 19c
3. Replatform Data Warehouse into a pluggable database architecture a. Client is looking to analyze and separate data that is commonly utilized verses uncommonly used data to improve query performance on the frequently used data. Client is looking to leverage a multitenant Container Database (CDB) architecture with the data segregated via multiple pluggable databases. Please note: EDW database is currently running on 11g R2 and will need to be upgraded to 12c to allow the Informatica application to be upgraded.
