Required Microsoft Dynamics 365 AX Consultant (100% remote role)

Hi,

·       They have decided to move away from MS Dynamics to Oracle Fusion.

·       They have 3 full time employees that starting Jan 1 they want them to work on the project to implement Oracle Fusion and learn oracle Fusion.   That is why they are looking for 2 maybe 3 MS Dynamics to support their current environment for the next 2 year maybe longer until they transistion off MS Dynamics

·       This job is 75% development and 25% functional -  Need good communication skills to talk to finance people and maybe even a division CFO.   Now they know most developers don’t have that much functional knowledge so they give them time to research to find the answers

·       This job as a developer you will be doing upgrades and new features because they need to do that.  Also will work on pulling data out of MS Dynamics to transfer to Oracle

·       Will also take tickets and fix issues

·       They are flexible with work hours and said, You will get 40 hours a week.  IF you are working late one day, the next day or later that week you can have off half a day.  Treating you like full time emplyee’s

·       What is big for him is attitude.  A person that wants to be part of the a team, can find answers if they don’t know things

·       This job is perfect for someone that doesn’t want to hop around and have a job for the next 2 to 3 years

·       This is phase one, next phase will be to do International

·       He said he is looking for Developers with 5 to 10 years of experience not the Architect level

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Design, develop, review and test customized code across all D365/AX Functionality.
• Design and develop interfaces from/to Dynamics AX/D365.
• Willing to be available 24 x 7 as it is a mission critical environment.
• Experience of about 5 to 7 years in AX/D365.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• D365 Experience is desirable but not required
• At least 4+ years of X++, Morph programming experience.
• Functional knowledge within General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable, Fixed Assets, Production Control, Master Planning, Sales and Marketing, Procurement and Sourcing is desirable.
• Experience in SQL Server queries ,procedures and functions is required.
• Experience in SSRS Reporting is required.
• Experience in Azure with D365 is desirable not required.
• Experience working with TFS/VSTS is required.
• Experience in Power BI is desirable not required.
• Experience in Management Reporter and Host Analytics will be a big plus.
• Experience with three or more following: C#, WCF, Web Services will be a big plus.
• Strong Inter-personal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment is required and independently when need arises.

Educational & Experience Requirements 

·       Bachelor of Science Degree or higher; Computer Science major desirable
