AKS – Azure Kubernetes services with VMWare –
VM builds to accommodate different use cases
• Clustered VMs, Availability sets, scale sets
• IaC design for patching versus monthly rebuilds, elevated access.
• DEV/Clone automated shutdowns during non-business hours.
• Utilize Azure Disk and Azure Files for Azure Kubernetes Service(AKS)
• Research the customization of Azure tags. If the dynamic creation of PV is pursued, we need to find a way to addadditional tags on storage resources.
• Research if the storage resources can be provisioned without having public exposure
• Research and document plans for persistent storage Backups, snapshots and replication for cloud storageresources
• Resiliency testing
• AKS Resiliency planning and testing
• Data backup planning (zonal/ regional) - Plan for failure and recovery • Recovery Service Vault - test and define use cases.
• Non-native services
• AKS, Terraform and Ansible upgrades
• Expertise in Azure
• Expertise in Fortinet firewalls, Hashicorp Vault, Twistlock.
