Role: STB Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6-12+ Months contract
· Develop, integrate and support platforms based on Linux, Android Set-Top Boxes
· Strong programming skills in C++/Java
· Experience in Android TV Framework (preferable) or RDK-V Linux STB framework
· Responsible for development practices, SW methodologies (continuous integration, tests, etc.) and project practices (agile). In addition, the occupant will provide recommendations for his/her management to define best technical choices for each project.
· Follow the evolution in the Software tool chain.
· Implement resources, integrate third party / partner software modules for complete software delivery.
· Analyze and define the Software architecture to introduce new features.
· Participate in technical specifications and project evaluation.
· Provide technical support to project managers and sales representatives also during meetings with customers.
· Provide workload estimate during project quote
· Contribute to creating a better SW tool environment (continuous integration, bench testing, SCM, etc.)
