Title- API Developer

Location- Chicago, IL

Duration-6+ Months Contract

Skillsets for API Developer:

- Good experience in REST API development including gathering API endpoint requirements of various systems/tools, use of RESTAPI tools (Postman and/or Swagger), security mechanisms, documentation, design, testing, publishing of API etc. - Good experience working with data formats (JSON, XML, YAML) - Experience with a bakend technology (Java/NodeJs etc.) and frontend technologies (Angular or React with knowledge of html, css) will be an added advantage - Experience in working with API development for cloud platforms/tools like Azure Devops will be preferred - Candidate will need to collaborate and work with product/system owners in the client organization, explore documentation, gather requirements to design and develop API (retrieve pipeline logs/metrics data, automate certain tasks etc.)
