Systems Engineer will play a key role in the workload migration project to move data center storage and workloads to the client data center. Client have both Windows and Linux servers but are predominantly Windows in flavor, in a virtualized environment.Combined the organizations will be migrating roughly 500 servers. The migration will include rebuilding servers, installing applications,and migrating data and configurations. This position will interface with end users to determine application use cases and ensure the applicationsmigrate with minimal disruption. Must have extensive experience with standard industry practices including security, a variety of server types and technical techniques. Possess considerable logic and understanding to analyze and troubleshoot problems. Must be able to prioritize workloads and respond to emergencies and all levels of troubleshooting.
This position will provide assistance with day-to-day support activities. This includes application and systems troubleshooting, Office 365 management (user accounts/permissions/management), Active Directory user and group management, and other duties as assigned.
