SSIS/SSRS SQL Developer (Critical, High Priority)
Exp : Mid-level (Facets experience mandatory)
Client is looking for a SQL Developer to design and build SSIS/SSRS applications for one of the leading health insurers in US. The ideal candidate must possess in depth experience with SQL server and developing SSIS and SSRS applications. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.
Responsibilities
As a SQL Developer, you will
· Act as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
· Analyze highly complex business requirements and write technical specifications to design or redesign complex requirements
· Analyze existing programs, make modifications and develop highly complex original code.
· Act as an expert technical resource for data modelling, simulation and analysis efforts.
· Work with DBAs and Data Architects to plan and implement appropriate data partitioning strategy
· Develop stored procedures, database triggers and SQL queries and tune SQL code for optimization
· Interact with stakeholders and users for requirement clarification, design and development of various processes
· Document and review design specifications, unit test plans and implementation release plans
· Ensure compliance to best practices, including driving and participating in design and code review sessions and process
· Work in an Agile environment
· Candidate must be able to work under minimal supervision, must be a self-starter and lead aspects of project work as needed
Requirements
· 7+ years’ experience with SQL server, SSIS and SSRS
· Strong hands on SQL expertise
· 3+ years’ experience in Facets Membership and billing modules
· Must have experience on modelling and building reports, cubes and dashboards
· Should possess a strong understanding of Facets data model as well as batch jobs in membership and billing domains
· Good team player with excellent communication skills and proactive behavior
· Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment would be a plus
