Job Description :

Summary:

  • The Finance Analyst – IT Back Office Solutions will be responsible for assisting with applying business and technical expertise to design, implement and support new business capabilities into ERP and related third party systems.
  • This role will participate in global projects in Finance, focusing primarily on supporting SAP ERP - R&R, OTC, and P2P processes and integrations with third-party systems.
  • This position is part of the IT Applications Back Office team and will be located remotely anywhere and or in Sunnyvale, California.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support relationships primarily with Accounting and Finance and external third-party vendors and secondarily with other department functions to drive daily support management and problem-solving around Accounting and Finance systems, related issues
  • Assist with configuring and maintenance of SAP ERP FICO and OneStream FP&A modules (or other modules as needed) to meet business requirements, including integration points with other peripheral system applications
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to gain a deep understanding of business processes and requirements and design, develop, and test system solutions to address business requirements.
  • Support implementation projects in alignment with IT's methodologies and governance model and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well integrated and aligned to the overall enterprise architecture


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Business, (or related) or the equivalent in work experience plus 10 + years of experience in the Information technology profession focused on ERP design, implementation which include project management.
  • 6+ years of functional design, implementation, support of Finance Systems such as SAP ERP FICO modules and, OneStream, Consolidations Reconciliations, Task Manager or FP&A with understanding of SAP SD and MM processes
  • Business process and configuration, interface mapping, IDOCs knowledge related to 3PL integration
  • Experience in Performance Management platforms and application connecting to SAP and good understanding of integration with other business applications (Microsoft Power BI, Vertex, BillTrust etc.)
  • Experience in other related areas such as Order to Cash, P2P, Intercompany Eliminations, Reporting, Queries.


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • SAP Certified Application Associate in Finance or Management Accounting and or OneStream; OCP Lead Architect with healthcare or life science industry,
  • PMP and or CSM Certification
  • Experience in peripheral applications such as Hyperion HFM, Planning, Essbase or CPM
  • Experience in handling validated systems.
