Job Title: Sr Business System Analyst

Location: Dallas, TX 

Description of Services

College degree or equivalent experience required
• 5 + years of technical support experience preferred
• 5 + years of Windows and Linux skills are required
• 5 + years of scripting with PythonPowerShellVB scripts etc.
• Must demonstrate strong sense of urgency regarding solving critical business application issues
• Must have excellent customer service, telephone, listening and communication skills
• Problem solving, pattern recognition and, critical thinking skills need to be very strong
• Aptitude to automate manual processes and validations with scripting languages
• Must be able to process multiple sources of information to get to the root of an issue
• Ability to understand and clearly communicate technical information to non-IT personnel
• Maintain a high level of knowledge for application layer frameworks such as the OSI Model
• Must be able to minimize downtime by rapidly diagnosing and resolving problems
• Be able to track and document information regarding troubleshooting techniques
• Ability and willingness to work overtime and be on call for urgent production issues
• Ability to work on Agile projects with scrum
• Specialize in problem identification and proposal of alternative solutions
• Adept at working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in banking industry (wealth management) is a plus
Deliverables:
• Support multiple applications in Wealth Management domain including third party applications
• Manage and Maintain Enterprise applications using SDLC methodology
• Review application logs and Enterprise application monitoring to proactively prevent application failures
• Create documentation to be included in knowledge base of issues and resolutions
• Works with 3rd party vendors and internal IT departments as appropriate to research and resolve problems
• Work with internal TCB business teams to establish application requirements and implementation expectations
• Participate in critical major incident resolution and treat such events a top priority
• Consistently demonstrate open collaboration with your teammates
• Perform software upgrades and other Technology Lifecycle Management activities
• Develop and maintain scripts for the team for proactive monitoring and automation
• Patch validation
• Technical POC for vendors
• Run archiving events
• Configure and setup application monitoring tools and ensure alerts are monitored and actioned
• Manage incident and handle escalations within SLA

5. Federal criminal – 7-year search (all AKAs that appear on SSN Trace/Credit report)
6. National Criminal Database Search
7. Homeland Security Search – OFAC + 100 other lists (terrorist, fugitive, individuals excluded from federal procurement, non-procurement, and reciprocal programs)
8. Federal Sanctions and Exclusions – includes GSA Excluded Parties List System and OIG List of Excluded Individuals/Entities
9. If the contractors have worked/attended school/lived outside of the US in the last 7 years, an international check of these requirements is a must.
