Position:SQL Server DBA
Location:Bothell,WA
Duration:6+ Months
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5+ years in supporting SQL Server databases
Minimum of 5+ years working experience in Windows Enterprise Server
Minimum of 5+ years working in IT development and/or technical support
Knowledge of Windows Server and SQL Server installation and configuration procedures.
Very good knowledge on SQL Server memory structures, Backup & recovery Concepts, Performance Tuning, etc.
Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) and related virtualization platforms.
Working knowledge of hardware, including RAID, multi-processor architecture, etc.
Working knowledge of networking and how it relates to database operations and connectivity.
Ability to create scripts and tools from scratch needed for database administration.
Advanced knowledge of shell/powershell scripting (i.e. command line applications, batch files, etc.)
