Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP PI/PO and SAP Integration Suite (CPI) Consultant to join our Application Management Services (AMS) team. In this role, you will support and optimize integration workflows across a diverse SAP landscape. You will be responsible for monitoring interfaces, resolving incidents, enhancing existing integrations, and ensuring smooth, secure, and reliable data exchanges between SAP and non-SAP systems.
This position requires strong technical skills, hands-on troubleshooting, and effective communication with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily SAP PI/PO and SAP Integration Suite (CPI) interfaces and address any system or message failures.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues within SLA timelines.
- Develop, configure, and enhance interfaces using PI/PO (IR/ID, ESR, SLD) and CPI tools.
- Support end-to-end integration scenarios across SAP ECC/S4, cloud systems, third-party applications, and APIs.
- Perform message tracking, error handling, performance tuning, and system health checks.
- Manage change requests, enhancements, and integration-related improvements.
- Work closely with functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into integration solutions.
- Coordinate with basis, security, and infrastructure teams for system updates, certificates, connectivity, and performance optimization.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, mapping sheets, and interface catalogs.
- Participate in testing activities (unit, SIT, UAT) and support deployment into production.
- Ensure integration security, compliance, and best practices are followed.
- Provide on-call/after-hours support as needed for critical integration issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in SAP PI/PO development and support.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP Integration Suite (CPI) including iFlows, adapters, mappings, connectivity, and monitoring.
- Experience with integration protocols such as SOAP, REST, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, HTTP, JDBC, etc.
- Proficient in message mappings graphical, Java, XSLT, Groovy scripts.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end SAP integration architecture.
- Experience working with SAP ECC/S4HANA systems and third-party integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and performance tuning skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with API Management, SAP Event Mesh, or Integration Advisor.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) or modern integration methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and AMS support environments.
