Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP HR Consultant with strong functional knowledge in the Hire-to-Retire (H2R) lifecycle within SAP HCM. The ideal candidate should be able to support day-to-day HR operations, troubleshoot system issues, drive enhancements, and collaborate closely with business users. Experience or exposure to SAP Travel Management will be an added advantage.
This role focuses on providing production support, managing change requests, ensuring system stability, and helping HR teams optimize processes within the SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-to-end support for SAP HR modules related to the Hire-to-Retire (H2R) process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, tickets, and service requests within agreed SLA timelines.
  • Work with HR business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide appropriate SAP solutions.
  • Handle change requests, perform impact analysis, prepare functional specifications, and coordinate with technical teams.
  • Support system configurations, testing cycles (Unit, Integration, UAT), and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process integration.
  • Provide support and basic configuration for SAP Travel Management (if required).
  • Ensure system stability, data accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
  • Participate in periodic system upgrades, patching activities, and regression testing.
  • Deliver user training and create/update process documentation as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP HR / HCM.
  • Strong functional expertise in the Hire-to-Retire (H2R) process.
  • Good understanding of core HR modules such as PA, OM, Time Management, Benefits, Payroll (basic understanding), etc.
  • Exposure to SAP Travel Management is preferred.
  • Experience working in an AMS / Production Support environment.
  • Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience with testing cycles and preparing functional specifications.
