Job Description
Client is looking to hire SAP Commodity Management Consultant to support the implemented SAP Commodity Management solutions. The role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of complex and large transformation engagements at clients. They will be required to coordinate the work of client team members for one or more projects and will be accountable for the successful delivery of all phases, releases, and project components for transformation projects. The role will be responsible for overall quality, engagement, and adherence to the schedule and budget for the project. It will be expected that the candidate demonstrates end-to-end business process knowledge in SAP processes.
• Oversee various transformational projects, implementing business improvements, or implementing ERP systems for our clients
• Coordinate project timeline with teams to ensure checkpoints and goals are met to the clients satisfaction
• Collaboration with the project team members in the management of overall resources allocation and capacity planning for the project
• Establish Solution architecture to drive NextGen releases
• Build Data migration utility to be used across NextGen releases
• Deliver all architectural / design deliverables
• Coach Leads / team members to deliver the NextGen program
• Ability to identify and derive integrated solution architecture
• Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for implementing NextGen release solutions
• Coordinate project timeline with teams to ensure checkpoints and goals are met to the clients satisfaction
• Collaboration with the project team members in the management of overall resources allocation and capacity planning for the project
• Manage program level status, metrics, issues, and risks and oversee all completion and sign-off on program deliverables
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team and client leadership assigned to the program
• Lead and collaborate in scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals
Qualifications:
• Experience leading large global business transformation program delivery with proven track record and a deep understanding of business values of transformation programs/objectives
• Ability to speak business language, guide business counterparts towards the right SAP solution and translate business requirements into technical requirements
• SAP Commodity Management Consultant to Support the implemented SAP Commodity Management solutions.
• 3+ years of experience with SAP CM, CPE, Commodity and Risk Management solutions, CTRM and Hedge Accounting
• The delivery of services will involve solution roadmap development, functional design, and Support of SAP CM, CPE and related modules and processes.
• Defining, planning, and executing end-to-end Commodity & Risk Management solutions, including transaction capture, risk management, logistics, and accounting.
• Perform Functional analysis work in support of SAP CM Processes
• Responsible for requirements gathering and development of functional specs for custom developments
• Develop proofs of concepts in SAP CM
• Working knowledge for the integration with SAP modules: MM, SD, TRM, FICO
• Experience leading sales opportunities
• Previous hands-on experience leading a specific functional stream
• Expert understanding of business values of transformation programs/objectives.
• Ability to work with C-levels as well as be hands on as required
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships
• At least five (5) full life cycle implementations as an ERP Project Manager with multi-module implementations (Finance, Sales, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse)
• A minimum of ten (10) years prior transformational ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience
• At least six (6) years’ experience in proposal and business case development
• Proven sales experience
• Ability to articulate the businesses enabled by SAP S/4HANA
• Develops detailed program plan, develop and monitor risk/issues, present status to internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to lead steering committee meetings, lead team meetings, lead business meetings, and lead project management team
• Ability to lead business workshops with key stakeholders and derive outcomes.
• Expert understanding of program financials and processes
• Provide accurate estimates, timeline, and ability to self-direct and mentor/manage teams and clients.
• Deep understanding of industry specific KPIs and benefits of S/4HANA functionality to enable the business
• Prior working knowledge of configuration and features of key S/4 HANA
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client presentations.
• Effective leadership and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility in learning new topics, handling change and deadlines.
• Ability to be hands on if required and mentor junior team members
