Role: Salesforce Technical Lead

Location: Seattle, WA

End client: Cognizant




1. Co-ordinations

•  Co-ordinate with BA, Architect and Offshore

•  Provide Technical Solutions and help developers and Sr. Developer

·       Customization & coding

• Detailed hands-on experience with Triggers and bulkification, Apex Classes

• Detailed hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components, Lightning Aura Components, and JavaScript for Lightning, Controllers etc.

• Detailed hands-on experience with Communities and sites is a must have skill

• Detailed knowledge on Lightning pages, profiles, permission sets, record types, page layouts, standard & custom objects, sharing & visibility, public groups, named credentials, remote site settings, connected apps, email templates and other standard configuration items.

• Apex batch jobs and scheduler functionality.


2. Integration

• Detailed knowledge on SOAP, REST and Bulk APIs.

• Detailed knowledge on use of Data Loader for Sales force data loads and interfaces.


3. Best Practices

• Coding best practices including trigger bulkification, reusable methods and classes, apex governor limits, use of static variables, common advantages and pitfalls of apex coding and object-oriented programming, proper exception handling and save points/rollback, avoiding recursion, null checks, execution contexts etc.

• Lightning best practices including JavaScript programming, exception handling, re-usable components etc.

• Configuration best practices including profile visibilities, security and sharing.


4. Administration

• Knowledge on Sales force release cycles and feature updates (should be able to analyze impacts).
