currently has a career opportunity for a Senior Java Developer and Nuxeo Lead Technical Consultant. This position can be based anywhere in the United States.
Job Overview:
As a Lead Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.
Responsibilities:
Hands on programming in Java.
Serve as a technical lead and mentor on the Data Solutions team. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
Participate in requirements elaboration and architectural design sessions with customers?
Assess and refine business, functional and technical requirements
Participate in designing solutions to implement requirements
Implement technical designs and integrations to the Nuxeo Platform
Enhance the Nuxeo platform for customer-specific use cases
Contribute to client deliverables (e.g. specifications and test cases)?
Participate in the development and delivery of training for customers?
Relay product feature requests to product management
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Java Developer
5+ years of consulting/professional services experience in a technical delivery role
Experience implementing Agile software projects in the enterprise
Experience with Nuxeo or the desire to learn and grow skills in the platform
Dedication to quality code and doing things the “right way"
Familiarity with software implementation best practices and software architecture principles
Experience with continuous integration frameworks and unit testing
Strong knowledge of Java or JavaScript and common coding frameworks
Experience with HTML5, JSON, CSS, XML
Experience developing and deploying into at least one public cloud provider
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to deliver requirements or user stories in a timely manner
Attention to detail
Nuxeo certification a+
Preferred Skills
Java experience with OSGI or Spring OR JavaScript experience with Polymer or node.js
Experience with an indexing architecture (ES, SOLR, Lucene, etc
Experience with a SQL database abstraction / ORM technology
Experience with a SQL database (Postgres, MariaDB, Oracle, etc
Experience with a NoSQL database (Couch, MongoDB, Cassandra, Hbase, MarkLogic etc
Experience with a queueing or message service (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc
Experience with a key value store (Redis, memcached, Riak, Dynamo, etc
Experience working in AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with containerization (docker, etc
