Magento Lead Developer
Location : remote
Duration : 6+ months
What I am looking for are a couple of Magneto Technical leads onshore. The role is more lead responsibility tasks than head-down coding. The individual needs to have Magento 2 experience and experience with PHP-5, PHP-7, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Prototype, XML, Web-Services/WCF, Web API Restful services.
Qualifications
Passionate coder with at least 5 years of PHP software application development experience.
Experience with Magento 2 preferred.
Experience with PHP-5, PHP-7, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Prototype, XML, Web-Services/WCF, Web API Restful services.
PWA exposure preferred.
Experience with Payment gateways like CyberSource, Autherize.net, PayPal, Braintree, Heartland, Paymetric.
Experience with integration of 3rd party solutions such as Shipping, Tax and Address.
Full life-cycle development experience – with Agile/Scrum project approach
Knowledge of version control systems, web development experience
Experience with estimating and project planning preferred
Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exhibits personal responsibility and accountability to complete tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively with other development team members that are on and offshore as well as customers
Work on existing applications as well as designing and developing new products and solutions
Experience working in a multi-client setting highly preferred.
Duties
Lead the Magento development team to develop all scoped requirements for a Magento 2 project. Work with the client teams to thoughtfully design and develop custom architectural integration points and new features for the consumer facing e-commerce website. Coordinate feature requirement gathering across multiple client teams to ultimately translate to Functional & Technical Designs.
Technical lead for the Magento 2 Cloud implementation working with client teams to understand business and feature requirements. Wrote process and functional design documents to fulfill all client requirements.
Managed all scrum ceremonies through the development lifecycle from daily development scrums, sprint grooming, sprint planning, internal development demos and sprint retrospectives leading to weekly demos for client team.
Lead Magento 2 development team.
Data architectural design for data flow between ERP Magento
Code review and approvals for all custom code written in Magento 2.3.
Work with multiple teams to design solutions, and estimate the development efforts.
Manage development teams of Perficient and client resources, and lead daily standups for new builds.
Conduct client demos at the end of each development sprint.
Participate in weekly client status meetings.
