Role : Release Manager
Location – Initial start with remote post which San Francisco/ San Ramon, CA / Irving, TX
Duration – 6 months
Job Description (Highlighted points are must have)
8+ years of hands on experience in managing system / application release.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of Oracle & PL/ SQL and experience and knowledge of Eagle will be beneficial.
Document release details and rollback plan for all scheduled and emergency releases.
Manage release items on JIRA - Ensure systems analysts, development, QA have followed all process for release.
Schedule releases w/ change management teams - Attend necessary change management meetings.
Working knowledge of TFS/source control to develop releases.
Collaborate across IT functions for releases.
Working knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle.
Coordinate releases w/ vendors ( Eagle BNYM folks/ TCS Production Support).
Support discussions around CI/CD - Publish the Quarterly Release dates to Enterprise Developers.
Ensure the sign off email attachments are added to the Service Now / Documents repository
