Summary
A strong IT project manager with experience implementing large IT applications; managing the entire project lifecycle, including data migration efforts; and managing project resources, including IT vendors under an SOW.
Responsibilities
This role will be an IT project manager on a large global project to implement a validated Regulatory Information Management (RIM) suite SaaS vendor solution and necessary system integrations to existing Baxter systems, as well as migrate legacy data into the new RIM solution.
This role will manage the IT workstream to migrate legacy data into the new RIM solution. Product and registration data in one standalone source system will need to be linked to the submission documentation in another standalone source system for the data and documents to be migrated into the new RIM solution.
Manage/Lead large, multi-functional global IT initiative
Prioritize work and schedules
Manage activities of all internal/external resources on project deliverables.
Manage multiple vendors, including the data migration vendor and the RIM software vendor.
Understand and direct/participate in all phases of the project lifecycle - research, analysis, planning, implementation, support and quality of new tools, technologies and or services.
Review project team deliverables to ensure quality (design walk-through, test results, etc and adherence standards/regulatory requirements.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project timelines and budgets.
Interact with diverse set of businesses: understand business/anticipate IT solutions based on business/technical knowledge, educate/ influence business project sponsor
Direct supervision/mentoring of project team members, performance feedback to team member’s manager
