Project Manager

San Francisco, CA (Remote)

12+ Months Contract

We are seeking a project management professional that also has experience and huge affinity for HR programs, processes and technology. This role will reside within the ES Transformation Program Management Office & Change Management team and will provide project management support for our global ES Transformation project. This company-strategic initiative includes components that span impacts to people, process and technology and is in service to improving our organizational capability, scalability while keeping the employee at the center of everything we do.

The project manager will partner with and support their business partners with project planning, ongoing management of operational activities, meeting and communication support, stakeholder engagement and change management support as needed.

This position reports to the Global ES Transformation Program Management & Change Management Office Leader.


* Provide project management expertise to deliver on the ES Transformation project by partnering with business partner and PMO team on project and/or workstream objectives, organizing and prioritizing deliverables, supporting the execution of project tasks, identifying and managing dependencies across workstream, and tracking and measuring to successful completion

* Build strong relationships within ES Transformation PMO & Change Team and Business Technology PMO team to ensure consistency and alignment of workstream management to the greater program timeline, identify areas of risk and mitigation strategies, while helping to identify areas of opportunity and best practices.

* Build and execute strong operational practices to support the seamless management of the respective workstream(s). This includes meeting organization and management, engagement and communication with core and extended project teams, managing project deliverables (project plans, status reports, RAID logs, etc.)

* Partner with consultant partners to develop a broader understanding of their approach and role in how they’re supporting Transformation workstream(s). Foster a strong relationship to enable the core project team to reach their objectives and milestones.

* Support project team in recurring project milestone meetings to ensure all deliverables are met. Help coordinate efforts across multiple teams to ensure objectives are achieved with quality and speed.

* Support the change management team in project activities such as stakeholder and impact analysis, communications, and training to project drive adoption

* Demonstrated ability to plan and manage simple to moderately complex projects including initiatives with multiple delivery partners and/or technology scope.

* Collaborates with all stakeholders to identify risks and issues that may not be visible at the task level but impact the overall project or broader scope.

* Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator.

* Ability to partner with project team members, stakeholders, and business partners to achieve deliverables with desired result.

* Demonstrated understanding of HR processes and technology platforms.

* Demonstrated ability of basic change management knowledge to support project needs.

* Exceptional customer service skills, including the desire to make others successful.

* Exceptional problem-solving skills with a passion for data integrity, process definition, and continuous learning.

* Results-driven, solutions-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Required Education & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or HR related.

* 3-5+ years experience in Project/Program Management Role supporting HR.

* Experience working in or supporting HR Technology programs or projects.

* Experience supporting large, global companies with complex employee base.

* PMP certification preferred or willing to obtain.
