Job Description:

1. Onsite Architectural Leadership & Advisory

* Serve as the lead technical advisor to the client's IT leadership and business stakeholders on all aspects of the data platform strategy, modernization, and implementation.

* Lead all architectural design sessions onsite, driving consensus and ensuring the chosen solutions (especially involving Databricks and cloud services) align perfectly with the client's existing infrastructure and future goals.

* Define and own the technical roadmap for major data initiatives, providing detailed, phased blueprints for execution.

* Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks inherent in complex data migration, integration, and MDM projects.

2. Specialized Data Engineering & Platform Delivery

* Architect high-performance, scalable, and secure data pipelines using Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Spark) for ETL/ELT processing on the client's cloud platform.

* Design and govern data integration layers using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS, ensuring seamless data flow between source systems and the data lake/warehouse.

* Drive the design and implementation of the Informatica MDM solution onsite, working directly with client Data Governance teams to define data models, master data domains, and critical business rules.

* Oversee and mentor the joint client/vendor execution team on best practices for Databricks implementation, code optimization, and performance tuning.

3. Stakeholder Management and Communication

* Bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring all proposed architectures meet defined KPIs and business value objectives.

* Present complex technical architectures and solution options clearly and concisely to non-technical client executives and steering committees.

* Document all architectural decisions, design specifications, and implementation guidelines to ensure transparency and knowledge transfer to the client's internal team.
