We are seeking an accomplished Program/Project Manager specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) with a proven track record in successfully managing projects using Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in guiding M&A initiatives, excellent communication skills, and a talent for stakeholder management. This role demands a strategic thinker who can navigate the complexities of M&A projects while fostering collaboration and transparency within Agile frameworks.
Required Skills:
· Lead end-to-end project management for M&A initiatives, including due diligence, integration planning, and execution.
· Ensure alignment of M&A projects with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
· Navigate complexities associated with M&A transactions and provide strategic guidance.
· Apply Agile principles, with a focus on Scrum and SAFe, to enhance project flexibility, transparency, and delivery speed.
· Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
· Ensure adherence to processes, quality standards and deliverables so that your projects are delivered with machine-like predictability.
· Implement SAFe practices for large-scale projects, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams.
· Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for M&A projects, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans.
· Expertise in developing detailed program/project execution plan and manages all implementation processes including budget management, resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints, and quickly establish yourself as a go-to leader within IT.
Required Experience:
· Proven experience as a Program/Project Manager with a focus on M&A projects.
· Extensive experience in implementing Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successful stakeholder management.
· Demonstrated ability to navigate complex M&A transactions and provide strategic guidance.
· Minimum 6+ years in very recent project/program management experience
With at least 4 years of that dedicated to running large IT projects
· Proven experience in managing multiple projects concurrently in an enterprise environment.
Certifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
· Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
