Contract to hire opportunity. 

1) Role is a mix between Product Manager + Project Management + Business Analyst
2) Individual day-to-day will be the interface between IT and business stakeholders
3) Potential for contract to hire

Required Qualifications

1.  6+ years product management experience, IT business analyst, or similar background

2.  Must be comfortable with conveying the value of new and emerging products, technologies, or applications to senior level management and across a diverse product team

3.  Product launch and lifecycle management experience

4.  Product management experience

5.  Previous experience leading a cross-functional organization in executing projects from ideation to completion

6.  Must be able to translate business needs into technical requirements

7.  Must be a Self-Starter

8.  Must be detailed oriented

9.  Must have analytical skills and critical thinking skills

10.         Must be familiar with Agile & Waterfall projects & processes

Roles & Responsibilities:  

1) Manages cross-functional teams through functional requirements gathering, implementation and validation through to initial launch or lifecycle of a service.  

2) Defines functional requirements for wireless services.  

3) Manages product development including product requirements gathering and definition, project planning, project management, budgeting, financial acumen, test design and execution, long term tactical roadmap and release management and planning.  

4) Communicates product requirements to various organizations such as IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Sales.  

5) Leads vendor selection process, delivery, quality required.  

6) Develops, maintains, and distributes, standard project management deliverables for the successful launch of new data applications and devices, including: implementation plan, project schedule, issues & action items log, meeting minutes, risks assessment and contingencies.

1.  Responsible for the success of a product or group of products through development and execution of comprehensive marketing plan.

5.  Elicit detailed offers requirements and project manage the delivery of new offers into the sales system

7.  Communicates offers and product requirements to various organizations such as Marketing Strategy, IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Sales Ops

8.  Collaborate with other DIRECTV offer teams to ensure customer experience and business services positions DIRECTV as the continued leader

9.  Recommend and implement changes required to be competitive.

10.         Identifies, monitors and analyzes internal (e.g. financials, movement, revenue, cost, sales) and external (e.g., technology, market share, competitive) performance parameters to position, modify features and identify new uses for the product.

11.         Provides continuing product surveillance and management of established product to attain financial objectives.

12.         Leads cross functional teams in presentation and resolution of marketing deliverables as needed.

13.         Provides readout to leadership level regarding products and plans as assigned.

14.         Acts as team lead as needed to provide leadership to less experienced professionals.

15.         Considered an expert within the discipline.

16.         Education: Typically requires a bachelor's degree.

17.         Experience: Typically requires 6+ years of experience in similar area of responsibility.
