Job summary
Primary skill as SQL Server DB Administration.
Roles & Responsibilities
Hands on experience in managing and administering large databases.
Strong knowledge in SQL Server database design and administration activities.
Strong knowledge on performance tuning and index managing.
Strong knowledge and Hands on experience sql server replication.
Hands on experience in DBA automation.
Expertise in handling backups, restores and recovery models
Hands on experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster (DR) options for SQL Server Experience and expertise in installation, setup, and configuration of SQL Server 2008\2012\2014\2016\2017 and up.
Hands-on experience performing SQL Server patching and database upgrades.
Hands-on experience configuring and tuning SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS processes.
Solid knowledge of OLTP and data warehouse architecture, data modeling and design
Monitor systems health and performance
Strong knowledge in SQL Server AZURE and AWS
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security of all SQL server databases
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Microsoft SQL certifications a plus
Strong Experience on Database monitoring tools like SQL sentry, Idera etc
Knowledge Facets product and active batch experience is an added advantage.
